The Heathman Hotel has a long tradition of supporting the community. Our new "Books by Your Bedside" Package is one way our guests directly impact literacy rates in Oregon. The Heathman Hotel has one of the only hotel-cataloged library’s in the country, and features over 2,000 signed books by authors that have walked through our front doors. We are passionate about literature and the impact a great book can have in our community. The Heathman Hotel has teamed up our guest’s, Powell’s Books, and The Literary Arts of Oregon, to support literacy for kids through our "Books by Your Bedside" Package.
The Books by Your Bedside Package Includes:
- A Current Hard Cover Edition of Our Most Recent Guest Author
- Professional Travel Reading Light
- Literary Book Mark and Powell’s Walking Map
- A Donation of $15.00 to SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) to Engage Community Volunteers to Read One-On-One with K-3 Children in Oregon Who Need Special Literacy Support
- A Personal Tour of Our Unique Cataloged Library
- Overnight Lending Privileges - For Stays of 2 Nights or More
Total Price $55.00 U.S.
A $55.00 charge will be added to your credit card upon confirming your reservation or room number. The price does not include overnight accommodations, you may add this to any overnight room accomodation or reservation. Please make your selection 48 hours (two days) prior to the expected delivery. Must have a valid credit card for Overnight Lending Privileges.
The Book by Your Bedside Program is Easy!
1) Select your book from the Most Recent Guest Author.
2) Our Library Team will process your request and have everything waiting for you upon arrival.
3) Please allow 48 hours to process your request.
4) For your personal tour, and details on how to access your Overnight Lending Privileges for the entire catalog, please notify Kimberly or Lisa, our library team, during normal business hours.
